- NuGold is a copper alloy consisting of 85% copper and 15% zinc. It has a rich warm color and when highly polished resembles gold.
- Nickel silver, also known as german silver is an alloy of nickel, copper and zinc but is more durable than silver. Nickel silver is corrosion and tarnish resistant.

It looks better in person so it was better than expected. The only thing I don't like is having to take it off to shower. Definitely a nice piece though.
